Maintenace Mechanic

Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager the CNC Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all CNC machines and equipment within the manufacturing facility, as well as performing routine maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with CNC machines and equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Assist with the installation and setup of new CNC machines as needed.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain individual and department working area in a neat and orderly condition, ensuring maximum efficiency and safety.
• Ability to handle hazardous materials based on defined procedures; certification for hazardous materials handling will be required. Observe all safety and ISO 9001/14001/45001 requirements.
• Responsible for adhering to the organization’s code of conduct, time and attendance and all other company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• 2+ years of experience in maintaining and repairing CNC machines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
• Experience working in an industrial manufacturing setting is preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment will vary. In certain areas of the facility personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, including safety glasses and steel-toed shoes, and ear plugs.

FLSA:  Non-Exempt Hourly

California Hourly Compensation Range:  $25-35
