We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician Intern to join our team at our Fresno facility.

 

Job Summary:

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician Intern, you will support the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing facility. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial environment, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge while learning from experienced professionals in the field.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing routine electrical maintenance and inspections on production equipment and systems.
  • Support troubleshooting and repair of electrical issues, including motors, controls, and circuitry.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
  • Help maintain electrical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance logs.
  • Participate in projects to upgrade or enhance electrical systems and equipment performance.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Shadow experienced technicians to learn best practices and industry standards.
  • Support the inventory management of electrical components and tools.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of electrical theory, circuits, and components.
  • Familiarity with electrical tools and testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA standards.

Hourly Compensation Range:  $21 - $25
