Trillium Pumps Italy is looking for an Instrumentation & Control Engineer.
Purpose of Role:
Responsible for designing, developing and installing equipment which is used to monitor and control centrifugal pumps. The role requires preparing and reviewing project documentation, material requisitions and drawings about monitoring instrumentation installed on pump skids both during bidding phase, detailed engineering or project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
- define standard equipment costs of the pump’s monitoring systems according to standards (API 610) and support sales for special quotations
- define, in accordance with project specifications, the scope of supply about the necessary instrumentation and control systems for pump monitoring during projects execution
- issue the relevant order documentation such as P&ID, wiring diagram, instrument datasheet, instrument list, logic diagram and I/O list
- issue material requisitions, in compliance with technical specifications, and support procurement department during components purchasing process
- develop specifications and best practices required for the execution and installations of electrical plant
- coordinate, together with the production department, the activities of the third parties that carry out the electrical plant.
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering with two years of experience is similar positions; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with field specifications and instruments. Proven knowledge about rotating machines monitoring instruments such as temperature probes, accelerometers and proximity probes.
Language Skills:
The position requires Italian and English effective operational proficiency, ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with groups of customers or employees of organization
Computer Skills:
Familiarity with CAD systems, AutoCad as minimum, PLM tools and office package. Database, Design, Development, Spreadsheet, Word Processing.
Personal Skills:
Ability to work effectively independently or as a team member. Accurate attention to minute details. Customer focus and orientation to results.
