Trillium Pumps Italy is looking for a Commissioning Engineer.

 

Purpose of Role:

Commissioning Engineer is the reference point of the company and customer for the management of customer assistance.

He/She is accountable (and whenever possible responsible) to determine solutions for functional and non-functional issues occurring after delivery of the equipment (pumps and sub supplies), involving all necessary and relevant internal and external actors as required by each specific case. He/She will be dealing both with warranty and non-warranty issues and responsible for cost tracking for claims received by the customers

 

Key Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to:

    • Be the reference point for customers for claims
    • Coordinate all functions involved in troubleshooting issues, including sub suppliers
    • Communication and relationship with customers for claims and warranties

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Root Cause analysis reports, involving other functions (AM Engineering, OE Engineering and R&D) if required.
    • Providing information to Com Ops to order & ship spare parts as required by warranties and to field service manager for site activities 
    • Tracking claims in relevant systems
    • Tracking all warranty costs in relevant systems and according to relevant procedure
    • Involving Quality Control/Assurance for internal NCR and following corrective actions.

 

Education and Qualifications: 

Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in troubleshooting turbomachinery.

  • Very strong background in pump issue troubleshooting and knowledge, including pump system interaction
  • Capability to write technical Root Cause Analysis reports, integrating all contributions from other specific departments
  • Capability to handle discussions with customers, often under pressure and in stressful situations
  • Capability to read technical drawings
  • Capability to negotiate in stressful situation

 

Computer Skills:

ERP, Excel, MS office
