Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of actuator products. This position is responsible for managing quality records, coordinating training, and leading corrective action initiatives. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all quality standards are met throughout the actuator manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)
- Managing the Quality Records Process
- Coordinating Qualifications and Training of Personnel
- Chairing the Corrective Actions Review Board
- QA Review and Approval of Purchase Orders
- Conducting Inspections
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or actuator-related industry
Certifications:
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with actuator manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management software
Skills and Competencies
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Physical Requirements
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment. Some aspects of this position are performed in a manufacturing shop environment and require frequent physical activity.
The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Sit for extended periods
- Use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone
- Talk and hear
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods
- Use hands and arms to handle tools, equipment, and materials
- Lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
- May be exposed to moderate to high noise levels, vibrations, and varying temperatures.
- May be required to work near moving mechanical parts and overhead cranes.
