Position: Senior Project Engineer 

 

Job Duties: Understand and apply applicable codes for the product application (i.e. API, PED, ASME). Ensure on-time delivery and accurate completion of bills of material, drawings, assemblies, test procedures, general arrangement of the product design. Review of customers’ purchase orders and specifications along with internal order documents for compliance and accuracy. Coach new Project Engineers and Engineering Co-ops. Prepare/review of 3D models and 2D CAD drawings for manufacture of valve components and assemblies. Define product requirements by entering the technical data of valve components within the ERP system. Define product testing requirements in written test procedures. Design reports which meet requirements for ASME codes and standards. Responsible for preparing engineering change notices for documenting changes in design. Provide engineering technical support, including responding to queries from suppliers on manufacture of valve components; providing technical evaluations and dispositions for non-conformances on manufactured product; and responding to queries from customers on valve orders, aftermarket spares, and service.

 

Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, related field or foreign equivalent.

    

Required Related Occupation Experience:

 

  • Five (5) years of experience in valve design using standards such as ASME B16.34 or equivalent
  • Three (3) years of experience in material standards such as ASTM or equivalent material standards
  • Three (3) years of experience with SolidWorks or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of experience with ERP systems

 

Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience will be accepted.

Wage:  $73,840 per year.

 

Hours: Full Time (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).
