Business Need / Purpose of Role:

Regional Sales Staff needed to focus on Trillium Flow Technologies valve brands in the Gulf Region with a focusing on Red Point fast-track products, Blakeborough, Hopkinson, and Atwood & Morrill valves. The individual will plan and implement sales strategies, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through channel/assemblers. Driving EPC, projects and end user AVL approval will also be a responsibility of this role. 


Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:

  • Develop & implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services
  • Develops and manages sales operating budgets
  • Financial metrics:  Develop and manage metrics for revenue and gross margin objectives for TFT Valve products, including preparing periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Develops and maintains relationships with other regional salesmen (RS’s) to maximize sales
  • Directs channel sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
  • Provides training, and performance evaluations to develop and manage sales plans
  • Reviews and analyzes channel sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness
  • Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
  • Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce highest possible gross margin
  • Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers, customers and key strategic partners
  • Through an effective Customer Relationship Management plan, meets with key clients, assisting sales team with maintaining relationships and negotiating/closing deals
  • Provides market intelligence for product research and development
  • Other duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Director


Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business preferred
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years total valve experience
  • Demonstrated Background in outside sales of Pressure Relief Valve / Safety Valve sales a must


Core Competencies:

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. 

Mathematical: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.  Ability to solve

practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suites, CRM Program (preferably Sales Force)
