Global Head of IT

Job Summary: The Global Head of IT is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT function. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is a critical member of the overall leadership team. The Global Head of IT partners with business and functional leaders across the global enterprise to drive technology initiatives, enhance efficiency, and support growth.

Location: Global- Can be based anywhere near one of our global locations.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge about IT applications: Stay informed about the latest IT applications, tools, and technologies relevant to the organization’s needs.
• Customer relationship management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their IT requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Systems expertise:
  • Salesforce: Ideal candidate has experience with Salesforce or similar customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • SAP or ERP Systems: Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Financial Systems: Understand and manage financial systems critical to the organization.
• Cyber Security: Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect the organization’s data and systems.
• Understanding and experience: Possess a deep understanding of IT processes, infrastructure, and best practices.
• Business Analytics: Leverage data analytics to drive informed decision-making and enhance business performance.
• Technology trends: Stay abreast of new technology trends and assess their applicability to the industrial sector.
• Open-minded and innovative: Willingness to explore and adopt emerging technologies, including AI.
• Industrial experience (optional): While not required, industrial experience is a plus.
• Leadership and collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to performance improvement projects.
• Reporting: Report directly to the CFO.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience in IT leadership roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and drive technology initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Passion for staying current with technology advancements.
• While this role may be based anywhere near one of our global locations, global travel will be required to support the business needs and drive implementation projects.
