Compensation: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour (Compensation is based on years of relevant experience and skillset level.)  

Position Summary 

Trillium Flow Technologies is seeking a skilled Welder II to join our Fabrication team in Fresno, CA. In this role, you will perform a full range of welding operations on pump component weldments while ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding and fabrication using advanced welding techniques.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
  • Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment for proper quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect weldments to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Work with engineers, supervisors, and team members to resolve fabrication issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S principles.
  • Complete timecards and production reporting in designated systems.
  • Comply with all company safety procedures and ISO 9001/14001 requirements.
  • Follow all company policies, including Code of Conduct and attendance guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical welding certification or accredited welding program (preferred).
  • 3–4 years of industrial welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW, and/or Stick welding, depending on business needs.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and common industrial alloys preferred.
  • Knowledge of welding codes and standards (AWS) (preferred).
  • Ability to set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment.
  • Understanding of quality control and use of inspection tools.
  • Basic computer skills for timekeeping and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety focus, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to pass required weld tests and certifications.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Routine use of PPE (safety glasses, steel‑toed boots, hearing protection).
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety procedures.
