Classification: Exempt, Salaried
Pay Range: $82,000 – $98,000 per year
Trillium Flow Technologies is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to support our Fresno manufacturing facility. This role serves as a strategic business partner to site leadership, providing advanced-level HR expertise and operational support in a fast-paced industrial environment. The Senior HR Generalist will lead employee relations initiatives, ensure compliance with California and federal employment laws, drive performance management processes, and support workforce planning and engagement efforts. This position requires strong knowledge of California labor regulations and hands-on experience supporting manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.

Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions in compliance with company policy and applicable laws.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with strong emphasis on California labor regulations (including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, wage and hour laws, and leave administration).

Partner with site leadership to support performance management processes, including coaching, annual reviews, goal setting, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and terminations.

Develop and deliver training programs to address performance gaps and enhance leadership capability.

Lead full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions, partnering with hiring managers on job descriptions, sourcing strategies, and candidate selection.

Support compensation benchmarking and annual compensation review processes.

Administer and monitor leaves of absence, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and ADA accommodations.

Maintain accurate, compliant personnel documentation and ensure HRIS data integrity.

Generate HR reports and dashboards; track key metrics including turnover, absenteeism, headcount, and workforce trends.

Promote employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and environmental standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).

Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of California employment law required.

Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, including PivotTables, complex formulas, data analysis, and development of HR metrics and dashboards.

HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and influence leaders in a manufacturing setting.
Work Environment
This position requires on-site presence at our Fresno, CA manufacturing facility. The role involves regular interaction with production employees and site leadership in an industrial environment.Personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection, may be required.
