Procurement Data Analyst
Location: Fresno, CA
FLSA Classification: Exempt / Salaried
California Compensation Range: $85,000 – $105,000
(Compensation is determined by a combination of an individual’s relevant work experience and educational requirements.)
Purpose
The Procurement Data Analyst at Trillium Flow Technologies is responsible for sourcing goods and services essential to operations, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making, supplier relationship management, and cost control. This role plays a key part in optimizing procurement efficiency and aligning purchasing strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure goods and services based on business needs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance standards are met.
- Negotiate competitive pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues related to quality or delivery.
- Analyze market trends, supplier data, and historical procurement data to support informed purchasing decisions.
- Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities across procurement processes.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Implement strategies to improve procurement efficiency and ensure budget adherence.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to meet sourcing needs.
- Support new product introductions by sourcing materials in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
- Observe all safety and ISO 9001/14001 Requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in procurement or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for advanced data analysis.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with AI tools and applications in procurement or supply chain is highly desirable.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment will vary. In certain areas of the facility, personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and ear plugs.
