Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Fresno, CA
FLSA Classification: Exempt / Salaried
California Compensation Range: $70,000 – $95,000
(Compensation is determined by a combination of an individual’s relevant work experience and educational requirements.)
Purpose
The Manufacturing Engineer at Trillium Flow Technologies supports production teams by developing accurate and timely routings, creating machine programs, and assisting with the procurement and maintenance of equipment. This role contributes to continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing processes and fosters a culture of safety, efficiency, and lean principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production team members in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement repeatable, safe, and efficient production processes.
- Assist in training team members on machines and manufacturing procedures.
- Create and maintain accurate manufacturing routings.
- Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Provide timely support to production teams when issues arise.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and confirm parts meet specifications.
- Promote and uphold Trillium’s mission, values, and safety policies.
- Exhibit respectful communication and behavior at all times.
- Utilize metrics and visual management systems to measure and improve performance.
- Continuously develop skills and stay current with new manufacturing techniques.
- Update and create work instructions and ensure best practices are sustained and improved.
- Lead or participate in improvement events and lean initiatives.
- Work flexible hours as needed to support production demands.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to drive results and foster a positive work environment.
- Observe all safety and ISO 9001/14001 Requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent years of experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic algebra and geometry skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation processes.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment will vary. In certain areas of the facility, personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and ear plugs.
