Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine, corrective, and preventive maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role supports safe, efficient production by ensuring equipment reliability, responding to equipment breakdowns, and completing scheduled maintenance activities. The Maintenance Technician troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Repair

Perform routine and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment components as required

Identify worn or failing parts and recommend corrective actions
Preventive Maintenance

Perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks according to established schedules
-
Lubricate equipment, replace worn components, and make mechanical adjustments

Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and PMs in the maintenance management system
Electrical & Mechanical Support

Perform basic to intermediate electrical troubleshooting (motors, switches, sensors, wiring)

Replace motors, belts, bearings, chains, gearboxes, and seals

Safely and effectively use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Operational Support

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns during production operations

Work collaboratively with machine operators, supervisors, and maintenance team members
-
Support continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and safety initiatives
Safety & Compliance
-
Follow all safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
-
Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Technical training, apprenticeship, or vocational coursework preferred
-
2–5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
Technical Skills
-
Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities

Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
-
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, manuals, and schematics
-
Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or shifts as required
