Information Systems Intern

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Systems Intern to join our Information Technology team. This is a paid, six (6) month internship designed for students or early-career professionals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in maintaining, improving, and supporting enterprise information systems. The intern will contribute to projects related to system administration, data integrity, reporting, cybersecurity, and end-user support while learning best practices in a fast-paced, manufacturing-focused business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, or other business applications).
• Support IT staff in evaluating, testing, and implementing new software solutions and system enhancements.
• Help ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems.
• Perform basic system configuration and documentation of processes, procedures, and workflows.
• Assist in end-user training and provide technical support to employees as needed.
• Participate in IT projects including system upgrades, integrations, and reporting improvements.
• Conduct research on new technology tools and provide recommendations for improving efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and comply with IT security standards.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of enterprise software (ERP, CRM, HRIS, or databases) is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, SQL, or reporting tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn in a professional business environment.

Compensation:  Hourly Rate at $25.00
