The Regional Sales Representative will focus on selling Trillium Flow Technologies (TFT) valve brands in the Southeast areas of the US. The individual will plan and implement sales strategies, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through channel/assemblers. Driving EPC, projects and end user AVL approval will also be a responsibility of this role.
Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:Develop & implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and servicesDevelops and manages sales operating budgetsFinancial metrics: Develop and manage metrics for revenue and gross margin objectives for TFT Valve products, including preparing periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansionDevelops and maintains relationships with other regional sales representatives (RS’s) to maximize salesDirects channel sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordinglyProvides training, and performance evaluations to develop and manage sales plansReviews and analyzes channel sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectivenessDirects market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goalsDevelops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce highest possible gross marginAchieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trendsEstablishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers, customers and key strategic partnersThrough an effective Customer Relationship Management plan, meets with key clients, assisting sales team with maintaining relationships and negotiating/closing dealsProvides market intelligence for product research and developmentOther duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Director.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business preferred
Minimum 7 - 10 years total valve experience
Demonstrated Background in outside sales of valves, preferably in the power generation market
